Description

This project is not my idea by any means, it's just my interpretation of it.

The amount of times I have drilled a hole and usually held a damp cloth or something else underneath to catch the debris is numerous and always as I remember quite messy,

This dust caddy eliminates those situations, designed with Fusion 360, this caddy features a drill hole with chamfer to deflect the debris into the container both top and side edges to stop debris from flying all over the place, a handle to hold the caddy in place when drilling, and an outlet at the top for ease of emptying the debris out after drilling, this will prove to be a very useful addition to the tool box in the future.

This component needed support for both the handle and container.

The profile had a brim, that’s not needed. also the support was almost impossible to get out. I have it theee stars as it did finish.

Sorry you had trouble removing the support, mine came out really easily, admittedly I had to use a small knife to remove some strands which were left over in the debris caddy but not too bad to remove, thanks for your comments, hope you ended up with a print you can use.

Print came out great, a no-support required version would be pretty awesome.

soo many supports inside the box. You can't fit a pinky finger inside. I cut my hand on trying to remove them. Gave up on it.

No supports on the latest model, just Glue together as per the Instructions, on the first model the support came out easy like a concertina for me. cheers

Super Idee, 2 Verbesserungen könnte das Tool.noch ein kleinwenig verbessern. Eine Vertikale Wand innen, und die Tiefe des Auffangkörpers vergrößern. Beim bohren schleudert der Bohrer etwas Bohrrest auf den Griff. Der überwiegende Teil wird allerdings aufgefangen.
