Description

** Update, there is now a model with the logo https://makerworld.com/en/models/629057#profileId-553746 **

** Updated to add better gap on the lid to allow for double sided tape**

A case for your airpods (gen 3), red tool style!

The model does not have any logos, you will need to add them yourself. I recommend some permanent vinyl cut with a cricut machine if you or someone you know has one.

The grey arms are friction fit, make sure you clean out the holes well before inserting them. There are two styles of arms, short and long. Long are for the front of the case and short are for the back.

As with most airpod cases, you will need to add a strip of double sided tape to the lid to get it to stay on.

The model is set to print by object so it only has to switch filaments a few times. I also recommend leaving the supports that are in the file as some of the overhangs can be quite difficult to print.

I also have a model for the airpods pro you can find here https://makerworld.com/en/models/549847#profileId-468211 and the airpods gen 1 and 3 here https://makerworld.com/en/models/582031#profileId-503169

Please leave me a like and a boost if you can! It really helps

Enjoy!

Hello, as with most airpod cases, even ones I've bought from companies you will need to add a little piece of double sided tape to the lid to get it to stay. There is a tiny big of extra space in the model to account for this

I printed the top at 98.5% and mine is staying on nicely.

I’m not sure why some can and some can’t but, you can sand the back down a little, or scale them down in the Bambu software by about 5%, either should work fine personally I just tapped mine in with a hammer but some people are reporting their prints don’t fit even slightly
