Description

After rigorous testing, I introduce, the Bambu Lab Coupler Adapter. Easy link two Bambu Lab original parts to form one great PTFE splitter for your P1 or X1 series printer!

All you need is a spare PTFE Tube Connector and an AMS Lite Filament Hub. Why not use threaded M10 fittings? Simple. Weight. By eliminating the need for 3x threaded and heavy pneumatic fittings, this becomes an ultra-light weight splitter that doesn't require a mount and can flex with the PTFE tube just like the original tube connector. Therefore, maintaining the natural balance without adding resistance to the toolhead.

The print profile has the optimal orientation. The model was designed with this orientation in mind.

Tolerances are TIGHT so the adapter can withstand continuous movements and assembly is a breeze.

Using the pictures as a reference, simply cut the PTFE Tube Connector to free the BLUE tube connector and press into the slot of the adapter. Again, this is a very tight fit to keep the connector in place. The connector has two flats, line them up accordingly.
For the Filament Hub, cut the magnet off (flush with the body) and slide into the other side of the adapter. Twist to lock into place. The words on the adapter and hub will be aligned to show you've done so correctly.
Now install as you would the original PTFE Tube Connector and you're all set. The 4-way splitter now gives you more flexibility when printing from the AMS or an external spool. You likely won't need all four, but each one will give a slightly different path to the toolhead based on the location of your devices in your setup. Test out the different slots to see which one works for you.
