Description

This is a tool to help release the PTFE tube from the filament buffer on the back, and from the extruder (printhead).

Inevitably, one will run into filament feeding problems. This usually requires releasing the PTFE tube from the back of the filament buffer, and sometimes the PTFE tube from the extruder, among other steps. This tool can help to release the tube from both places.

Releasing the PTFE tube requires one to push down on a ring that's securing the PTFE tube. In the filament buffer in the back of the printer, the ring is recessed inside and not easy to get to. This tool can push down on the ring without having to open up the buffer.

This tool also allows one to press down on the ring on the extruder to release the PTFE tube without opening the extruder (printhead) cover.

An ergonomic handle design and finger grip pattern make it easy to use. The handle is long to make it easier to reach and get to the filament buffer in the back of the printer.

Easy to print, no support, no brim.

Great print and I'm sure I'll thank myself for printing this before I need to

I had some issues at the top part with the overhangs. Seems to be a bit of a cooling issue to me. Used the basic PLA from BL on a P1S. But it's fine, since it is just a practical tool and not a display object. And it's verry minimal.

Printed beautifully with some Glitter Blue Proto Pasta. Tool works great to pop the tube out of the buffer when I am shuffling AMS around.

This saves me from using a screw driver to get those hard to reach places when things go wrong.

A bit difficult to use, but that is mostly bambulab's fault. It prints well and function as intended.
