Description

Mario brothers Box desk organiser

Printed lying on its back with supports enabled to reduce wasted filament purges and reduce print time by half

I used PETG as a support interface material for easier support removal

That what I wanted to do but because there is 2 colors on almost all layer, it doubled (tripple?) the print time...

Had to rotate the part so the seam would be on the back side. Had to stop the first print as the right side would not stick at all. Changed some settings and reprinted. Worked great until the middle where both side warped a little but with the weight of the print, I was able to continue. Had to struggle to remove the supports (maybe because of the rotation I did) but the PETG made a very beautiful finish! lot of work but the result is awesome!! thanks!

Print went well enough. I had a bit of a hard time getting the supports out, but might have just been the setting I used. Also wish I could have finished the top a bit better. My “?” ended up a little rough on some parts.

Removal of supports was hard, not sure this is the best slice to use.

did you use petg as support interface ? if not then yes its probably very difficult to remove - others have printed with no support and it worked

great print but those supports are super hard to get off. I needed a screwdriver and a heat gun.

So people say this can be printed without support? How could that be possible? You can not print in the "air"?
