Description

Accessories box with locks.

Updated, hinges and latches reworked. Now its not so tight on hinges and latches, print is more tolerable on different materials and own print settings. Old design had too big change to be useless, those flaws fixed in this version.

Fixed couple other measurement faults also.

DO NOT use original files, or print profiles, use only files and profiles 26.11.23 onwards.

All is printable, no need for other parts.
Material needed aproximately 360gr.

Idea of assembly of hinges and their locking pins you can get model photos.

I'd say the idea looked pretty good, but alas... Unfortunately, the model, especially its hinges and lock, does not allow any and all additional clearances. Because of this I was unable to print it with a good roll of PETG which was tested prior to this on other tight tolerance models successfully. After an hour of sanding and carving, I've achived a somewhat working hinge and visually alright locks, but all four of them are creaking and nearly falling apart. I recommend either pritnting only with PLA, while lowering line height way down and slowing down massively, or skipping this model until the creator updates it to allow at least a bit more clearance on all moving parts. Still, a promising model and a nice effort overall. Also be warned that if you do not slice it yourself and print it directly from Bambu Handy, it'll not only add unnecessary brim and supports, but also splooge 40% infil which feels like a massive overkill for that type of model.

Thanks for feedback, i have to admitt that it is made in very minimal tolerances. I'll take a look on model and i will update it with more loose tolerances. I could also release couple new profiles with less infill and so on. I'm happy to get feedback that helps me make models better. I should have tought it a bit more before releasing, cause there isnt room for any errors in this at the moment.

I looked at ur photos again, and i decided to put this on hold completely. There seems to be some problems with ur print overall. But i have decided to make updated version and print it again myself too on some generic petg and make sure those problems shouldn’t occur in normal scenarios anymore. I plan also to make simple instructions how to assembly this box. Im sorry for ur trouble, but i do my best to avoid this kind of probs onwards. And i want to thank u sincerely for ur feedback.

Thank you for looking into it! I still managed to find a use for the box even in this state, and if you release another version, I'll probably reprint it again, as I like what you have done very much.
