Description
I have designed and 3D printed an XT60 connector mount specifically intended to facilitate the connection of LiPo batteries to your drone. This mount is designed following the Apex frame style but, by attaching to the common standoffs of the frame, it is adaptable to many other frame models.
Features of the Mount:
- Design: The mount is designed to be easily attached to the frame's standoffs, ensuring a stable and secure installation.
- Versatility: While optimized for the Apex frame, its compatibility with common standoffs makes it usable with many other frames.
- Mounting Variants: There are two versions of the mount available:
- Perpendicular to the ground: Ideal for those who prefer a standard, direct connection.
- Vertical mount: This variant allows for more ergonomic access and can facilitate cable management when connecting the LiPo.
- Material: The mount is made from durable and lightweight material (TPU), suitable for use on racing or hobby drones.
- Functionality: The mount keeps the XT60 connector securely in place, reducing wear on the cables and improving the efficiency and safety of the electrical connection.
Usage:
- Ease of Connection: With this mount, connecting and disconnecting the battery becomes a quick and simple operation.
- Protection: The XT60 connector is protected from accidental bumps or damage thanks to its stable and secure position within the mount.
