Description

EDIT 1/4/25: After many requests, I have decided to make a version with a seperate topper for the lid that will cut down on waste and time. It is a tight fit but may need a dot of glue to stay in place. Please let me know how you like the new variant!

This is a chapstick holder inspired by the ubiquitous Stanley Cup. Sure to wow the kids, or even the ladies in your life.

My wife came up with the idea for her shop and asked me to design it. After many revisions, I think it's ready to publish. It can be printed in multiple colors to make it look more like the real thing.

I tested it with Burt's Bees chapstick; I'm sure it would fit other brands too. Keychains can be bought cheaply on Amazon, or you can just hook it on your keyring. Throw it on your keys, backpack, purse, whatever! Makes a great stocking stuffer as well.

UPDATE: New Short Straw Variant for those who have broken the normal model. It should be stronger.

love the print. having issues with straw breaking on some filaments, but over all very nice design.

I made the straw thicker already and am afraid to make it any thicker to preserve the ratios

Ah It looks great. I think I'm having a bonding issue. It's been right where the color tab turns to the white straw. It's only been 3out of 48 so no complaint at all. Love this print

looks great! sand the bottom just a bit (can use concrete or the print bed lol) to get rid of the brim leftovers

I can’t stop printing these in all colors 😂. do you happen to have a tray that would hold 6 so they don’t “fall” over 😆

it looks amazing & the detail is great! uses a lot of filament for the lid, which is my only issue with this print.

Looks great, I thought it was silk or something. I'm constantly surprised by all the filaments Bambu has.

The entire bottom row colors are from Sunlu “Rainbow 2”. I printed them individually, to get the gradient effect, but that’s all from just the one spool. The top row, I used: Bambu Indigo Purple, Bambu Silver, Bambu Jade White

I printed a bunch of these as stocking stuffers, and they turned out so cute! I used UV color-changing purple filament from an old stash, and it really made them pop. Such a fun and easy print—highly recommend for anyone looking to make unique little gifts!

Turned out great! Supports came off easily and the threading turned out. Lid was printing at the time of this.

Depending on your filament the lid may need to be screwed a few times to be smooth but it should work out well

Turned out great. my only problem was that the lid was printed with a box? (see photos) was that supposed to be there ? because it wasted a lot of my filament.

it’s a prime tower to help with color changes. you can turn it off in the settings but colors may bleed

Printed these to give away for the holiday season. Print came out great! Only suggestion, if it would be possible to print the top (screw in) lid color on the same sheet as the body of the cup, this would drastically improve print times. Thinking you could clip it over the straw peice when complete (CA glue to secure of course). Other then the print time, no complaints amazing print/functionality!

Hey Grover GREAT File, I love the overall results but why so many purges see attached picture and it took 4 hours on the A1 mini to print the lid any tweaks to speed this up?

I modeled it to be printable in one piece and be true to the real thing. You could print the lid piece in one color (no color on top) and it would save a lot of time.
