Description

This is the first in a series of shelves based on the cycle of the moon that I will be uploading. It's an easy print, no supports, no brim. It can be fastened with two 4 mm screws. More to come soon!

Strength Issue:When I printed this, the immense amount of hollow areas left by lightning infill caused the print to literally tear itself apart from lack of lateral strength. The print adhesion was fine, bottom and top were solid, but the print walls collapsed perhaps due to plastic shrinkage and pulled layers apart (delamination). The final product essentially self-destructed. Re-printed with support-cubic infill, the problem is now resolved. Wish I hadn't wasted 100m filament on the first go though.

Once I fixed the profile, I had a lovely product. There's nothing wrong with the model itself. Unfortunately, Bambu's rating system is a profile rating system, not a model rating system.
