Description

Original models by Jujumo can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6241141

Summary

This is a simple interlocking containers that can be arranged and stacked.
Interlocking is asymmetric.

Arranged by size on plates for ease of printing.

Features

  • interlocking,
  • stackable,
  • secure with a locking pin,
  • several sizes,
  • cut corner to identify the assembly position.

Description

  • As with the previous version, these containers attach to each other using an interlocking mechanism.
  • It is also still possible to stack them.
  • The pin helps secure the containers together. Simply slide the filament into the groove.
  • The cut corner is a visual cue to help assemble the containers.
  • As you have probably noticed, the number of notches is not the same on opposite sides of the container, so there is a sense of assembly.
  • By always placing the cut corner on the same side, you are assured of good assembly, therefore, containers cannot be rotated 90°.
For example, the 12x06 container is not interchangeable with the 06x12 container (like the left and right hands).
  • You will find 16 .stl files, corresponding to 16 different container sizes.
  • Files are named using the following convention: container - XXxYY-1.stl.
  • XX represents the number of notches in the width direction and YY in the depth direction.
  • By convention the cut corner is placed at the front left.

Print instructions

  • I recommend a 0.4mm extruder,
  • print in spiral mode,
  • no support needed,
  • narrow side touching plate.
