About This Model
This model set came about due to the need to have the lowest profile base plate possible with magnets for my (truly) Universal Socket trays. For some reason I couldn't find exactly what I needed online, which is usually pretty surprising. So I put this little piece of work together and figured it belongs to the internet. After a lot of comments on how useful the system was I am working on an entire Gridfinity Universal Toolbox Collection. With that said These were needed to minimize filament use and keep the baseplates printing fast.
- Also see my Half-Size grid - Low Profile - filler baseplates - These are .5 by 1-6, used for filling spaces in the drawer that didn't fit a full grid. Particularly useful with my half-sized grid based trays that can lock in place with another grid by placing one of my half grid fillers halfway on two baseplates.
Features
- All sizes of Bases (that fit the printer) included in each profile
- 6x2 magnet press fit inserts with bottom hole to remove old unused magnets
- only 6.75mm tall
- only adds 2.5mm to the total height of Gridfinity trays when inserted
- Sizes 1x1 to 4x4 will fit the A1 mini (only fitting sizes in profile)
- Sizes 1x6 to 5x6 will fit the X1/P1 (all sizes except 6x6 in X1 P1profile)
- 6x6 to fit the A1's maximum bed usage (all sizes including the 6x6 are in A1 profile)
