Description

My wife asked me if I could print her some gift tags for Christmas. No problem...
I made the outer frame and the bar for printing the names myself.
The part of the snowflakes and star I downloaded and used from the following profiles.

I created the name directly with Bambustudio on the bar. I have attached the corresponding settings for it in a screenshot. Of course you can try other fonts yourself.

The printing time for 2 tags, as seen with MOM and DAD in the example, take about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Maybe you can tewak some things. Did not tried to disable IRONING.

I scaled it up to 100 mm diameter and changed the color manually at a specific layer height.

Nice print with transparent PETG. I also rotated it round 180° so the star was at top.

Can you explain the "color correction"? What was wrong in my profile? I would like to try to avoid this problem next time. And why set to 99% fill? Is that better for more speed when printing?

The 99% was just a happy accident it was meant to be 100% but unfortunately gyroid doesn't let you go to 100. I felt 15% might be a little flimsy print-wise and potentially snap. 15% should be fine as it gives the similar result anyway... just a personal edit really... mine maybe adds an extra 1 min of printing and gave me a sense of comfort. Will see if I can amend actually to 100% for my version. By Colour correction it was just fixing some of the tiny gaps on the coloured snowflakes. If you zoom in closer to the rounded bits you'll spot a couple white spots. I just went into colour painting and used the fill option. I think it was these little gaps I've filled in on this screenshot. It removed a few of the filament switches and sped things up! Lovely print nonetheless. Looking forward to making a handful for my family and also noticed you did a gorgeous one with the snowman. That's next on my print list! :D

You are absolute right... Can't explain, why it is not correct. I take a look at my other 3mf with many Names on it, there are no white spots. And Filament Change is only 2... I see some spots you mentioned. But can't fixed it now. It is too late for today :D Thank you for pointing me!!!
