Description

*****ATTENTION*****
11/28/23 - UPDATED YELLOW FILE. There were a small gaps found between the yellow and blue. These gaps have now been filled. The old file has been replaced with a new one.

This model has been updated on 11/21/23. The previous models rear cover did not fit easily and the sawtooth hanger was not in a good location. The rear cover was optimized to fit better and now has sawtooth hangers on each side to make it easier to hang straight. Please download the new files if you had downloaded them previously. The cover is still tight near the inner peakes of the M. Giving the box a little sanding in these areas will help it to fit easier

This is a University of Michigan block M lightbox. The rear cover contains a hole for easily wiring lights as well as a sawtooth hanger cutout making it easy to hang on the wall if you choose to do so. If you like this model and would like to see more, please consider buying me a coffee. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I printed your lightbox, and for the most part, it's cool; however, I did reduce the size of the print to 75%, and I was wondering if you would feel that would cause significant gaps in the way the back frame fits the "M." I've attached photos to illustrate my issue. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The rear cover can be difficult to attach near the areas of near the center. I have found that if you shave down these areas to be rounded off on the insisde of the box, the cover will fit much better.

Came out great, used COD LEDs on this and its incredibly bright. I put it on my desk at work and it has gotten a ton of compliments. Thanks for the file! Go BLUE!

overall a great and easy print. I am happy with the result. a few minor bleed overs into the yellow but that was more my printer than the file.

Can you elaborate on why you rated this 3/5? I have printed this file multiple times without issue. I would like to help resolve any issues you may be having

Yes. Every time I printed it I would get tears in the face. I am using an X1C and smooth plate, but with some research I think maybe a different plate could help. I will try it again with a textured PEI plate and see if that does better.

I use LED strip lights and attach them to the rear cover.
