Amazing design! I printed this to give as a gift and it looks absolutely beautiful. The only thing I would have changed is the thickness of the front plate to make it a bit stronger.
I printed using Bambu Basic Gold, Red, Black and White. I think yellow may have been better to let the light pass through.

thank you mate, and nice job 👍🏻 The basic gold is great on the Porche logo which is not backlit, but it still looks perfect. The yellow might be more illuminating 🤔

Printing this right now and I was wondering what kind of lights to use. Can you use any type of basic LED light strip?

exactly, any basic led strip , which is glued around the perimeter of the lamp and leads out from the side through the prepared hole for the power supply.

Can you post the .stl vs .3mf to make it easier to print? opened this in bambu slicer and its upside down and when you to go rotate the individual parts flip over and don't align. Also, do you have this with just the logo/shield and no text underneath, looking to print a lightbox like this with just the shield and hang on a garage wall. Thanks!

Hi, hold left shift and drag to mark all the parts then you can move the model as a whole. But I recommend printing the front side on a textured printer mat for the best look. Hope my advice helps you.

Very cool Lightbox. Is it possible you could design it with the other Porsche model names as well? I am looking especially for Taycan.
