Hey,
Unfortunately, there is currently only a workaround for that. If you import models from https://www.printables.com/ into MakerWorld, it also takes over the gif files. However, it's not possible directly in MakerWorld yet. (I made a printables account specifically for this.)
I learned this from here from the user Black Jack, who also wrote to the support about this matter.
