BoltBoards is a modular storage system that uses threaded inserts that can self-extend and screw into themselves and modules to aid makers in their organizational needs. Taking inspiration from ThreadBoards and Ikea Skadis, this system seeks to be open source and available to the public for free.

A 1.2 cm screw will sit flush against the board, while a 1.8 cm screw is the standard size for attaching a module onto the board allowing for clearance between the module and board for a tension hold. The thru screw is if you want to connect two boards together or for the attachment of a command strip adapter.
