UPDATED 2/14/24

This is an easy to print and assemble stand for both versions of Bambu AMS. All the hardware needed to assemble is included in the print.

We now have both the 4-SLOT (legacy) version of Bambu Lab's AMS and NOW the 3-SLOT version (newer) available as well. Be sure to identify which AMS you are using. Look on the bottom of your AMS and identify if there are 3 slots. BELOW is the new 3-SLOT AMS design (bottom view). If your AMS does not look like the image below, then you should use the legacy version.

If the bottom of your AMS does not look like this, then you should use the legacy 4-SLOT design.

Below is a view of the new 3-SLOT wall design. It is actually deeper (wider in the picture) than the legacy 4-SLOT design. So be sure and choose the correct one to print.

NOTE: When assembling the cross braces please be aware the double sided bolt only works in one orientation. So, if it seems like it's too tight, flip it around and you'll see it easily fits.

I know I wanted an AMS stand to free some room on my desk and after reviewing every stand I could find, I realized I'd need to build one myself. BUT… I was inspired by one that was close to what I wanted. It's the AMS stacking stand for P1P and X1 by MihaiDesigns. This stand is NOT a remix but rather a rebuild completely from scratch ground up.

I really liked the way the top of the stand fit snuggly into the bottom of the AMS. I didn't like the fact the back wasn't there and you had to purchase metal tubing and fasten it yourself if you wanted it sturdy. Also, I knew I wanted a different look for the stand as well.

So, in Blender, I cut off everything but the mounting teeth on top. I then created a different design but kept the same height and same dimensions. I next added a back brace to make it as sturdy as possible. Everything is ready to print in the 3mf including 4 hand-tightened bolts and the X-brace internal screw bolt. There are spring clips designed to work in PLA that reinforce the X-brace. There are some finger notches in the bottom to make it easy to lift the whole thing with the AMS.

Print in PLA with no supports.

Had a lot of fun making and printing it.
