Description

I wasn't able to find a latest model F1 car for 2023, so I made one from scratch myself in Onshape.
This is a full, print-in-place, simple Formula 1 2023 car
Ready to go for printing on your X1C with minimal supports
Use your AMS + multimaterial to make custom colorways of your favorite Formula 1 teams
Two options:
- Print tires on the car (F1_2023_car_all-in-one.stl)
  - This is the file loaded on this model page's print profile. Find the other files in the “raw model files”
  - the tyres are slightly flat on the bottom for printability.
- Print tyres separately, then glue on (F1_2023_car_body_only.stl + front_tyre.step + rear_tyre.step)
  - tyes are then fully round, and printed layer orientation is a bit better for circularity.
The stock files are ~Hotwheels/Matchbox car sized (75mm long), but you can scale them larger, no problem. Just make sure to scale the tyres as well. If printing tyres separately, print them with the axle facing up.

went with a two color print, the front end is kinda thin so the colors bled. print in place led me to believe this model moved but its stationary. Its a neat model but if you are looking for a perfect print you lay need to play with the purge volumes. printed on a1 mini with BBL PLA Basic.

Im not a a great modeler, so what needs to be done to the model I can only guess. If you look at the front fender the line top of the black is clean and the inbetween bled. Id like to say it would be its to thin? I dont know, I did consider it as being my fault but the rest of the areas where pink and black meet (the back fin) didnt show this bleeding. 5 star rating to me should be a first time 3d printer user not having to troubleshoot these things. If you have some suggestions Id love to hear them also.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding on how multicolor 3D printing works. You are making color changes between a bright and dark color. There will be bleeding if you don't tune the flushing volumes within bambuslicer. watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3ZIM3megIU and read this forum post: https://forum.bambulab.com/t/so-much-purge-tower-infill-support-poop-why-does-it-do-them-all/14369/14 The printer isn't a perfect machine as it only follows YOUR control and setting. as I said before, my model has no control over your color settings, and shouldn't be penalized for it. It's as if you were complaining to a takeout restaurant that the UBER deliver driver was slow-- the food is the same, it's the delivery that's the problem.

Easy print, came out perfectly with 0.08 layer height, I think I could’ve gone with 0.12 as well. will probably print again in different sizes, maybe paint as well. thank you so much for the model!
