Description
This is a trefoil knot for decoration.
The knot is available in two different print profiles:
Profile 1: Trefoil Knot (three sizes)
Profile 2: Thicker Trefoil Knot (three sizes)
The printing time is between 30m for the smallest and 3h15m for the largest trefoil knot.
Support is enabled on the print profiles. Printing without support is possible on X1C.
The math behind this trefoil knot can be represented in python like this:
theta = np.linspace(0, 2 * np.pi, 1000)
x = np.sin(theta) + 2 * np.sin(2 * theta)
y = np.cos(theta) - 2 * np.cos(2 * theta)
z = -np.sin(3 * theta)
