I recently gifted my son my original 1988 Hess Racecar Carrier truck to play with, but I realized I played a bit too rough with it last time I had my hands on it as a lad.

The piece that joins the cab to the trailer was partially broken.

In the pursuit of making my 3D printer purchase ‘practical’ I set out to fix it!

A cheap pair of calipers, some YouTube videos on Fusion 360, and a day of fiddling later and this replacement clip was made!

Hopefully this helps someone else in the future (though it's admittedly super niche)
