Description
1:5 scale model of a helical staircase, great for centrepiece, a classroom model, a doll house, and many more. This is an advanced build requiring well tuned filament and carefully calibrated printer. In addition to the printed parts depending on how high you go and what filament you use you will need to attach the top of the stairs to something, I used a bent acrylic sheet so as to keep the visual impact of the stairs.
These are the non 3d printed parts I used:
- M6 hex nuts and bolts 70mm long (2 per step)
- 3/16" threaded inserts and matching 20mm fasteners (2 per step)
- Superglue (for inner handrail)
- Round steel plate
- Lazy susan
- 5mm Acrylic sheet
