Description

Content

The model contains four plates with distinct models placed on it:

  1. Large .NET Bot head which can be used as desktop stand deco
  2. Large .NET Bot head with a keyring / or mounting whole instead of the antenna dot
  3. Small .NET Bot head with strengthened antenna to put a keyring through it
  4. Two Stands for models from plate 1 or 2

The small keyring differs in the following manner from the large model to be printable in a smaller scale:

  • No antenna dot
  • No .NET text

Motivation

We developers are living in the digital world. It's not usual for us to hold something in our hand. I cannot fix this circumstance but we as 3D printers are able to have a little bit decoration based on our daily (virtual) life.

Did I designed it?

Of course, I did not invent or design this model. This model is based on the official .NET mascot bot, converted using MakerLab converter and simplified to be better printable and have less colors to be AMS-ready without manual stops to change filaments. I do not own any rights or permissions, I'm just a developer that wanted to craft something in term of fair-use.

Room for improvement

I'm a beginner, if you find anything that improves the model, please remix it or ping me. I have a long way to go but 3D-modeling and printing sparks some joy.

If the print does not well, please try to:

  • deactivate “Ironing”
  • adjust layer heights
