Draco 0.16mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill

I used my own profile, I enlarged the wands to make them actually adult sized then made it 3 walls thick. .16mm height at high quality. love it.

what type of paint did you use? did you use regular PLA then painted or a wood PLA?

I used standar black PLA with postprocesing (primer, sanding and painting with acrylics).

Fun design! Printed quick and without issues using a wood PLA. Applied 2 coats of some old stain I found in the garage. Came out great!

I really like this one. I did 130% on the X and Y width and 110% on the height.

Hey there. Don't know if that's intentional but on the Snape wand there's a gap between the handle and the upper part of the wand. Unfortunately that caused the print to fail on the first try because the upper part separated from the handle, came off the supports and then started printing mid-air. I fixed it for the next print by adding an additional cylinder that connects both parts solidly. Besides that it's nicely designed and the Hermione wand that I printed simultaneously came out nicely. The co-worker I printed them for was very happy

Exceptional model. I reviewed the Elder Wand too as we did them at the same time and both models led to such impressive results! I liked the HP wands relative sturdiness too. My wife painted it after and I was floored by the result. Thanks again for the model, you rock!
