Description

As an amateur radio enthusiast (though not yet licensed for broadcast), I love my small portable Uniden Bearcat scanner (BCD325P2). When I've been using it at my desk, however, I've been yearning for a stand that would:

  • Allow easy access to all buttons
  • Not block the speaker at the bottom, or the charging port on the side
  • Have a slight tilt to make the display easier to read
  • Be a single piece, stable, and not allow the scanner to easily fall over

This model is my attempt to satisfy those criteria — and I'm quite happy with it!

Some other models of Uniden scanners are pretty close to this model's dimensions, but your mileage may vary. I've only been able to test with my specific model — BCD325P2.

how wide and thick is your scanner? I have a Uniden BC125at and am curious if yours has the same dimensions. Mine is 62mm wide at the bottom and 33mm thick at the bottom. Thanks

It sounds like yours is about the same size as mine. The opening on this model is 62mm x a hair over 32.5mm and I get an almost perfect fit side to side, and a little bit of play front to back.
