Modern Remote Control Holder / Stand

This is my attempt to create nice looking, modern remote control holder.

I was thinking about how I want it to be. As I want to store my remote controllers from smallest to biggest, triangle shape was an obvious choice. I want them in some angle, so holder need to be in an angle too. And no flat as most design I’ve seen. Rounded.

I like an idea of open sides. And I'd probably just end up downloading the open-sided stand if the ones available here didn't look like a 1990s Citroen Xara Piccasso or a World War II military truck. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry for being honest. I want my stand to look modern.

About the model.

22.3cm x 9.0cm x 16.5 cm. Can hold 4 remote control.

Size of the holes from the biggest on the back to the smallest on the front – 62mm x 40mm, 62mm x 38mm, 62mm x 32mm, 62mm x 29.5mm.

How to print it?

Put it sideways on the print plate. I printed it with 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height and I not even used any supports. Smaller nozzles was not tested so I can’t confirm it’s possible. Probably is. Just to be sure print will look great, I suggest to use tree supports for at least two biggest holes.

If you want that look I got on my holder use fuzzy skin! I used fuzzy skin on all walls, 0.3mm fuzzy skin thickness and fuzzy skin point distance of 0.8mm. It hide layers, it hide seems and it gives that nice shiny look! I strongly recomend you to try it :)

As the model exceed 18x18 size it is not possible to print it on A1 MINI or Prusa MINI. Everything from Ender 3 up will be fine.

I’m sorry I can’t provide print profile for this model. MakerWorld won’t accept print profiles prepared for my printers other than Prusa MINI. Can any kind soul do it for me please? :)
