Description

Welcome traveler, and look upon these amazing artifacts; The Dual Chalices Of Pain And Woe!

These are two props I modeled for a D&D encounter concept in game I run where I like to have props and things to represent the world of the game at the table. Initially, the smooth chalice was handed to the player who found it, and when they drank from it, the spikes would shoot into their characters fingers and the spiky chalice would then be handed to them. It was a whole thing, and kinda cool, but another DM suggested that the spiky version should be for hurting you on the outside (Chalice of Pain), and the smooth one should be used for hurting them on the inside (Chalice of Woe). Hence a use for each prop at the same time and a way to engage two players instead of one! Have one person not be able to spill a drop from the Chalice of Pain while it hurts their hand so bad, and another has to resist the desire to ruminate on their past mistakes while in contact with the Chalice of Woe. Or whatever, I'm not your DM! I'd love to hear how you use them if indeed you do so.

This design was originally conceived in two pieces, so you may notice several files on each plate with a plug to ‘join’ the parts. This is intentional and because I am new to modelling and, so far, not the best at it. You may wish to separate the pieces out and print in two pieces anyways if you worry about failures at the stem, though I have had no issues with this.
