Description

THIS IS A COMPLETE AIRBOX ASSEMBLY I MADE UP FOR 1982-1983 YAMAHA TRI MOTO 125 OR 175 2 STROKE 3 WHEELERS. SOME CUSTOM WORK MUST BE DONE AFTER YOUVE PRINTED THE AIRBOX ASSEMBLY AND LID SUCH AS DRILLING HOLES FOR MOUNTING SCREWS, ETC, BUT THE BOX FITS TIGHT IN THE FRAME AND BOLTS IN USING THE OEM MOUNTING LOCATION AND BOLT AT THE REAR. I MADE THIS FOR A CUSTOMERS MACHINE AND FIGURED I WOULD ADD IT TO HERE NOW THAT I'VE BUILT ONE AND TESTED IT. THIS IS FOR PETG FILAMENT, O.4MM NOZZLE, ENGINEERING PLATE, PRINTED ON X1C. THANKS FOR LOOKING

The R. side of the airbox (oriented up top) in the printer bridging and building up the wall. These print perfectly for me so far, any questions feel free to ask.

82-83 Tri-Moto 2-stroke Airbox Direct bolt in, basically an OEM replacement for those missing these parts to get more of these old machines running properly again. Fully 3D printable and this is my own model that I designed from scratch for a customers Yamaha Tri-Moto that was missing the whole intake/airbox/snorkels/ducting, and the OEM carb. It came to me with a CR80 carb with a pod filter off the carb and wouldn’t run right like that no matter what, this airbox solved all the issues and is very strong. The PETG holds up fine since it’s not that close to the exhaust or engine without any annealing, etc so basically right out of the printer and serves its purpose 100% as good as the original airbox with increased flow drawing air under the seat. These trikes are oil injected so no premix designed to run all choked up so feel free to test this out and let me know how it goes for some feedback.
