Description

Model was designed specifically for my Der8auer edition Lian Li 011.

But I figure a banner is a banner, and i'm sure this would be neat just about anywhere.

Currently sized at 430mm long and handles scaling well.

All I did was glue magnets to the bottom corners and it slides right into the channel along the bottom of the case.

As you can see from the final printed image, I had magnets on the top and was trying to attach it to the top of the case, but there's just enough stuff in the way it didn't work well. So I had to pivot and go for the bottom.

The 3mf is cut and colored, but stl is still the full 430mm file, I split mine dead center using the built in Bambu cut tool which cuts into the letter “N”. So i left the main file uncut so that you can cut it differently if you choose.

My hueforge colors and settings aren't an exact science, i just used random black, red, beige, and white that I had around all from various brands.
The red is “reprapper” and the beige is “3dhojor”, the black and white were $9 amazon specials and don't even have branding..

Print settings absolutely matter if your want your colored layers to work.

*I set the first layer height to 0.32, this is a must if you use my colored file.
First Layer: 0.32

Layer height: 0.16

Layer selection in Bambu Slicer:
Layers 0-8: Black

Layers 9-10: Red

Layers 11-12: Beige

Layer 13: White

and it should end at layer 14.

Bambu does a good job of previewing the colors, so if you have the colors and settings right, your preview should look right. The main problem I see with hueforge is that a layer can get thrown off. So if your preview shows the whole banner red instead of black, just move the black layer up 1 until you see it look right. If you don't want to do my initial layer of 0.32, just moving the layers up should compensate for that.

Also, in my testing i substituted out the beige, I found that off white and light greys work as well, but dark greys are no good. Also the final white layer isn't imperative, but I think it adds a nice pop.

I know this is a weird one only having a few layers of each color.. but I think the end result speaks for itself. I needed this to be pretty thick and it took a lot of testing to get it to look good and be sturdy. I'm really happy with it, and hopefully you'll like it as well.
