Description

Xbox Series S Purifier Fan

A stylish and functional 3D printable purifier fan designed to look like an XBOX SERIES S. Perfect for desks and workshops, this purifier fan is more than just a good-looking accessory.

It effectively sucks up fumes from soldering irons, ensuring a healthier environment while you work on your electronics projects. Additionally, it captures and filters out nasty particles and odors, providing a cleaner and more pleasant workspace.

I Hope you like it! Also, this project was heavily inspired by Scott Yu-Jan's (SYJ's)  XBOX SERIES S Purifier, I just made mine much smaller so it is easy to print, and doesn't cost much and can be put on a desk without being noticed much.

Instructions and Notes:

I recommend using BAMBU LAB Matte PLA for this.

White Matte PLA: https://au.store.bambulab.com/products/pla-matte-filament?variant=42647402315939

Black Matte PLA: https://au.store.bambulab.com/products/pla-matte-filament?variant=42647402479779

NOTES:

You can use any 70mm 3pin Fan for this.

You will have to cut the Filter to size, and replace them every 6 months.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Print the parts in White and Black PLA or PETG.

Step 2: Use 2 Dabs of Super Glue to stick the Black Round Filter Cover to the 2 supports on the Main Body from the OUTSIDE (NOTE: The filter cover does not fit through the inside of the body.)

Step 3. Cut the black Carbon filter to size and push it into the main body.

Step 4: Screw in the 70mm Fan to the 4 holes in the corners.

Step 5 Plug the 3 Pin to USB-C connector in to the 3 Pin Fan.

Step 6: Plug the USB-C end of the connector into the slot on the back wall.

Step 7: Super glue the bottom corners of the back wall to the main body.

Step 8: Use a USB-C cable and plug it in to the USB-C port on the back to power the fan. (WARNING: Ensure that the USB-C cable you use is not a computer charger or any cable rated over 20 watts, as this may damage the fan motor or cause a short circuit.)
