This end cap was designed specifically to be added on the ends of Squared pvc pipes like the one seen here (https://www.biltema.se/bygg/vvs/ventilation/ventilationssystem/ventilationssystem-110x55-mm-plast/ventilationskanal-110-x-55-mm-083-m-2000028236).

When building a hydroponic gutter grow system / nft system using squared pipes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgeqURDWUos), you'll find that there does not exist a end cap for the pipe you are building with. When I was building the “Hoocho Gutter Grow System” (search YouTube) This was exactly the problem I ran into. which is why I designed this end cap.

The end cap snaps into place inside the 110x55mm pipe due to the inner raised edge being slightly bigger than the hole of the pipe in the corners. When adding the cap, remember add a line of silicone in the trench created by the 2 raised edges. This will make the cap leak-proof. Its recommended to add a sealant to the print prior to assembly as to make it water resistant.

The 2 raised spike things on top edge of the print have an exactly 40mm wide gap in-between them meant for assisting you if you need to drill a hole in the pipe for either a pipe that pumps water in or a derange pipe which drains the water flowing through the pipe.

The part seen in the picture was printed using a 0.4mm nozzle with default settings in the Bambu Studio for PLA.
