Description

I built a work bench in my shop. I wanted a replaceable top so I opted for the plank flooring. It left an unsightly edge. I designed a bench edging that can be put on to make a clean look. I also have a corner piece that is the same profile so you can have a seamless look all the way around! The shape is designed so tiny pieces won't roll off. Anything you don't want on your table, just brush it off, most things will slide right over the lip onto the floor. Modify it to the length you need. I have uploaded a few different lengths. The 139.7mm is my standard size I use. Enjoy!

Print them straight up so no supports are needed on the straight pieces. I'd suggest printing at a slower pace to ensure they don't break free from the build plate.

Print the corner piece as shown in picture. You will need to print with supports for the underside of the top layers.

Install corner edging first, then fill it in from there with the straight ones. Press down slightly on piece then screw in screws. Ta-da you have a smooth transition!

Bill of Materials

List other parts
Do not use button head cap screws. There are not enough options for me to select exactly what you should use. Use wood screws #5x 5/8 Oval head Phillips. You can use a different length but all my edging I've used has been over wood and 5/8" is long enough!
