Description

BL AMS Air Max 3 Add-on Cover & Lid V2

This is an add-on piece for the Air Max 3 to close up the lid fully. It is not a have-to-have but a good-to-have if you like to complete the enclosure and have some peace of mind.

To best secure the cover onto the lid, a new indentation feature was added to the lid. This new feature helps the cover sit still even if you hold the Air Max 3 upside down and fully loaded.

However, if you choose not to reprint the lid V2 and use the original lid, this new add-on cover will still be able to fit on the original lid, but you will miss out on the locking function.

Enjoy !!!

I like the surface quality of your print. Looks really nice. Have you dial down the layering height?

It looks like the print profile that Fire Time uploaded is missing the support material, which is why the printer is printing in the air at the overhang of the body. I update a print profile including the addon cover and the Lid V2. If you still can't locate the print files, please try to download the STL file directly. Cheers, S.ID

I update a print profile including the addon cover and the Lid V2. The print file I original uploaded was dedicate to the ASA material and I assume that is why you have so much stringing and things does not glue down, due to the higher heat need for the ASA than the PETG or PLA , which over heated PETG and PLA is hard to glue down and could overflow in extruding the material. Hope this helps and sorry for the missing notification on that. This new uploaded print file is based on PETG which should work on PLA too. You can also change the material in the Bambu studio to the proper material you plan to print with. Cheers, S.ID

Tried to print 2 of these twice but all 4 failed to print and I had to stop the job. On all 4 prints the model pulled away from the supports at one end once it started printing the wide section. Not had any issues printing your other stuff so not sue what the issue is this time.

I think the print file I released before is with the material of ASA. And that is a material that required higher heat at the hot end. I will upload one with either PETG or PLA print file later. Hope this helps..

I printed 6 of another version because you didn’t have hole cover. But I will be printing your version as soon as my printer is free. I love your design over all the others I’ve seen.
