Description

First Off - I have no idea what I'm doing. This is the first time I've ever modified a 3d Print/Design, and I barely did that to be honest. I am a newbie. I have an X1C and I spent a bagillion years printing this base with drawers I found on both MakerWorld and Printables (original creator is on MakerWorld - username is emmazzarol.) I love this base, and I am limited with space for my print area. I also have a Sunlu S2 dryer and no place to put it - so I searched and found this awesome mount/stand by xChris. I really wanted to use this mount, but I needed it to connect to the side of my stand/riser. So I popped it into tinkercad and did a thing - and it actually connects and works pretty well. It can be used on the left or right side of this stand.

- Printed in PTEG
- 3 Wall Loops
- 15% Infill
- Model is Single-Color, but I did add a layer of blue for my personal printing of it.
- I removed the honeycomb connectors and added the triangular snap-in connectors specific to this riser/stand.

I used 2 x M4x30 Screws to mount the Sunlu S2 into the mount.  Screws are not required, but needed if you want the unit to be secured, not fall off the mount due to movement.  Remove the existing 2 x screws at the bottom of the S2.  Place the S2 in the mount. Use the 2 x M4x30 screws to connect mount to Sunlu S2.

So, here it is. Links below to the stand/riser it connects with as well as a link to the original I used from xChris.

This mount MUST BE USED with this SPECIFIC x1c stand/riser. It will not connect to any other stands/risers unless if has the same triangular pattern.

I am sure there is more I could have done to improve it, and maybe I will in the future. I'm still learning :)

PS - Please ignore the AWFUL layer shifting you can see on the corner of my stand/riser (not the mount for the sunlu) in some of the photos. My nozzle had issues during print and I just haven't reprinted the corner columns yet.  I will, I promise.
