Description

This is a toy Sauce Pan for children to play with.

Despite its name, the Sauce Pan is not a Pan, it is a Pot, and it is not for Sauces, it is for making small amounts of soup. The motivation for this Pot’s name, such that it is, is unknown to me, but who am I to question the people who name things?

Unlike the Toy Skillet, this deceptively named Pan is a single piece and thus requires no screws to assemble. Unfortunately, this means you will need to use supports or risk the handle attempting to abandon the Pot for its life of lies. I may post a second version that has the handle separated from the Sauce Pan, but I’d need to print an example to post and my child does not currently need two toy pots for making small amounts of pretend soup. Perhaps if she opens a pretend restaurant and hires a pretend Potager Chef who is unable to meet the needs of the pretend dinner rush, I’ll print another. Or, if she breaks this one.

If you look closely, you can see the words “Sauce Pan” on the handle of the tiny soup pot. This is so that you, or your child, can easily tell the difference between the Sauce Pan and other, more honest and respectable, toy cookware that do not lie about who and what they really are.

Lastly, this Toy Sauce Pan is a toy, and should not be used to cook real sauces, small amounts of soup, or food of any type. Don’t even use it to heat up real water. Just keep it away from anything you may actually eat.
