Front view looks great. Printed on Wham Bam PEI plate. However, looking from the side I had some noticeable defects. I'd welcome any advice to reduce those. X1C, PLA, temps 220 and 60 C, Aux fan off. If you ever think about any changes, I would rather have the cord hole in the rear plate. You have many awesome projects. Thanks for sharing them.
So the problem comes from the wham bam. For lightboxes the flow rate needs to be increased to ensure there aren't any pinholes, gaps, etc. Unfortunately the increased flow can cause ripples from over extrusion. The wham bam seems to make those ripples stand out even more than it would on a textured build plate. I bought 2 wham bam plates and never use them because of this issue.
For the cord hole, I solder the led strip to a USB-C module. Exiting out the side works best for that. But you can always add a hole in the backplate with Bambu Studio to suit your needs.
after a couple failed attempts due to issues on my end I finally got it to print without any issues. the model is fantastic and I’m very happy with the results.
