Description

Kraken Stack'in is based on the classic Barrel of Monkeys game, but with a nautical twist!

The objective of the game is to form the longest chain of squids without dropping one. If a squid escapes, it becomes the next player's turn. To increase difficulty and keep the game going longer, additional squid pieces can be printed to keep the kraken stack'in going. The storage box for this game utilizes a threaded top for easy storage and transportation.

Print Details:

I have printed this model several times with great results using 0.24mm for the box (faster print time) and 0.20mm layer height for the squid pieces for greater detail. I have been using 15% grid infill for both the box and the squid pieces. This combination has worked well for me using Bambu PLA, eSun PLA+, and Overture Matte PLA. Make sure to share your results if you print using other settings or materials, I'd love to see them!

I have also included a print profile using  0.24mm layer height and 15% grid infill for both the box and the squid pieces for connivence.

The bottom of this box can be printed without supports, however the underside of the lid requires them for best results. The attached print profile has manually painted tree supports on the overhung edges of the lid and the top of the threaded underside. Supports should not touch any of the threads if you make changes!

This game has lots of small parts so please keep away from children or size up significantly.

I am thrilled with the quality of the box. In matte it came out phenomenally clean.

Unfortunately I don't have a mini, but the file should still work if you open it in Bambu Studio on a computer. You should be able to rearrange the objects or move the box and lid onto separate build plates so you can print them separately
