Created this storage solution based on my work as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and company regulations for shadowing tool boxes to reduce the risk of losing tooling around aircraft. Originally I tried the Gridfinity system but found that it was too large and wanted a system that would allow items to be placed closer together. This base plate is large enough to take up most of the X1 Carbon print plate with room to spare. Each Square that makes up the grid is 20mm x 20mm for convenience.
