Description

I wanted to turn a ikea container into a filament box.

I didn't want to drill a hole in the box, because it would no longer be airtight. So I developed a non-destructive design that adds height to the box, through which a PFTE connector is screwed to let the filament through.

If tomorrow you want to use the box for another purpose (food storage, etc.), you'll still be able to.

You can use this box to store your filament during printing. It's relatively airtight, so you can use moisture-absorbing bags to keep your filament dry.

You'll need :
- IKEA 365+ box 32x21x22 cm (10.6L)
- 2 M3 screws and nuts
- 1 PC4-01 PTFE connector

I provide the fusion360 file, so that if you need to make changes, you can.
