Description

30mm Tesseract Torture Test

You know what's a eye sore? Well its all of my calibration cubes they just are plain and its 2024 now we cant have that. And the calibration cube has served its purpose so now its time for the new calibration "cube"(Tesseract). Yep that's right I made a more precise tool for calibration on 3D printers!

So how does it work and how is it useful?

Extrusion IE Measurement's not right!

Well its simple really the hole cube measured from the middle Crosswise should be 30mm if its not check the bottom of the print for warpage or elephants foot if the top is the issue than lower your flow rate or recalibrate e-steps. Now measure the sides first layer in inside Lengthwise and get the average for all four sides it should be 25mm + or - 0.1 if you 3d printer is calibrated perfectly. If it is above 25mm you might have some under extrusion and that should be fixed because it can make gaps in prints and cause problems to fix recalibrate e-steps and or lower pressure advance settings! If when measuring length wise and it is lower than the 25mm than you have over extrusion and should recalibrate!

Cooling IE Overhangs!

While checking the length of the inside first layer down Crosswise in the middle it should be 25mm but this is not usually the case unless you have great part cooling. So the inside of my cube is 24mm what do I do? Well you can print faster Yes faster and with a lower layer height can help improve your Tesseract so you get the right dimensions.

Dimensions

1st layer inside – 25mm

1st layer inside – 20mm

1st layer inside – 15mm

1st layer inside – 10mm

1st layer inside – 5mm

//Coming Soon// Naaaa Here right now

Sooo What makes this the best calibration cube well you can build with them and put them together with connectors yep that's right there a multi purpose tool so once your done calibrating your 3d printer you can print the connectors and give your "Gift" cubes to your little cousins whos birthday is tomorrow oh no you forgot?
