PISA stands for Plastic Interlooking Spool Array, a tower for holding spools of filaments

Inspired by the well-known Italian tower, this modular system allows to solve our common problem of serial and compulsive accumulation of filament spools :-)
The system comes with a base, a lid, and n-modules, one for each spool; the modules are optimized to be printed in about 4 hours (at normal speed, with eSun ePLA-SS type filaments) and have a soft texture to the eye that allows them to be placed in the home environment, transforming a space requirement into a design object.
Each module has a handy little pocket where a sample of the filament or an identification label can be inserted; a plate of tiles can be printed for this purpose, making the filament change between tiles.

PISA è l'acronimo di "Plastic Interlooking Spool Array", una torre per contenere bobine di filamenti

ispirata alla nota torre italiana, questo sistema componibile e modulare permette di risolvere il nostro comune problema dell'accumulo seriale e compulsivo di bobine di filamento :-)
Il sistema è dotato di una base, di un coperchio, e di n-moduli, uno per ogni bobina; i moduli sono ottimizzati per essere stampati in circa 4 ore (a velocità normale, con filamenti tipo eSun ePLA-SS) e hanno una texture morbida alla vista che ne permette il posizionamento in ambiente domestico, trasformando un esigenza di spazio in un oggetto di design.
Ogni modulo è dotato di una pratica taschina dove poter inserire un campione del filamento o un'etichetta identificativa; a questo scopo è possibile stampare un piatto di tessere, facendo il cambio filamento tra una tessera e l'altra.
