Description

Hey everyone!

I designed this IPad stand based on my more poular honeycomb version.

As this version is a bit more time consuming to model, there's only one size available.

 

Important Note: It does only fit IPad's of ~6mm thickness (without cover)

 

If you want to fit IPad's with cover (max. thickness 10mm) you may also want to check out 

my topologically optimized version (Makerlab ID: 923306)

I like the look of it, what app did you use to make the organic cad model

I did use Fusion360’s “automatic modeling” feature. There you can choose multiple surfaces to be connected and body’s to avoid. You’ll get multiple auto generated form options to choose from. As its not parametric, I did only one size option. Currently I’m trying to do the same by topology optimization using ntopology so I can add more versions with different dimensions while keeping the same look.

works great but not big enough if you have a case on your iPad
