Description

The Magnus Curve Ball is designed to have an extreme curve when thrown. The amount of curve can be controlled with the spin rate and orientation of the ridges in flight. The direction of the curve is controlled based on the orientation or axis of spin.

Print Instructions:

This ball should be printed in PETG because it is not as brittle as PLA. Print the Ball Half model twice to get the two halves. Print the Alignment Pin once.

Assembly Instructions

Apply glue into the square holes on both halves of the ball. Apply additional glue to the flat faces on the ball halves. Align the two halves with the help of the alignment pin (see photo below). Press together and let the glue set. I used a rubber band to hold the two halves in place while the glue was setting.

I really like your design. I think it will be better to include the two halves and the connection part in the print profile, it will be much easier and straightforward for printing.
