Just to give a big warning, this mod will offset the center X position of the print head. It looks all A1 series X center position depends on the end of purge. If you add anything thicker on the purge stop. It will offset it.
Photos; this is what happened.
For such a tiny easy print, this is the only reason I even like the A1 after it just kept failing any AMS print because of purges sticking to the nozzle. WORKS AMAZING! FIXED IT!
Before and After, This made a MASSIVE Difference. Printer is now actually usable for color changes. Before my printer had a serious wiping problem, it would poop right on the wiper blade, but after this simple fix which i applied with a small dabbadooyah of high temp hot glue to the spot shown in the photo, my alignment was not 100% perfect. i give myself a C for passing but if you REALLY eyeball it you can get that lil nub on the print to center perfectly on the gray plastic wiper engagement lever.
5 Stars to the designer. Perfect fix.
I tried to open this structure, there is room for adjustment, about 2-3 gears, after installation is the third picture.
Need to print several times to see the effect, I think it is necessary to adjust so prominent, level can be.
The stressed plastic is relatively soft, when collision to the end, will not broke the gear structure, I suspect the problem is the installation position during production assembly
Currently X axis is pressing down on the stressed plastic so tight that the stopper has exceeded its maximum position, as long as it's smaller than the third picture
