To successfully slice and print the HueForge model with Bambu Slicer, follow these steps:
General Print Settings:
- Infill: 100%
- Layer Height: 0.08mm
- Base Layer Height: 0.16mm
Filaments Used:
PLA PolyTerra Charcoal Black
- Transmission Distance: 0.3
PLA PolyTerra Pastel Watermelon
- Transmission Distance: 1.5
PLA PolyLite Pro Light Blue
PLA Overture White
- Transmission Distance: 4.4
This print uses 4 unique filaments.
Swap Instructions:
- Start with Charcoal Black
- At layer #7 (0.64mm): Swap to Pastel Watermelon
- At layer #10 (0.88mm): Swap to Light Blue
- At layer #12 (1.04mm): Swap to White for the rest
Steps to Set Up Bambu Slicer:
- Open Bambu Slicer and import the MarioWatercolor.hfp file.
- Set the layer height and base layer height:
- Go to the Print Settings tab.
- Set the Layer Height to 0.08mm.
- Set the Base Layer Height to 0.16mm.
- Set the infill to 100%:
- Under the Infill section, choose 100%.
- Configure the color changes:
- Go to the Objects or Layer Modifications section.
- Set up color changes at specific layers:
- Start with Charcoal Black.
- At layer #7 (0.64mm): Add a color change to Pastel Watermelon.
- At layer #10 (0.88mm): Add a color change to Light Blue.
- At layer #12 (1.04mm): Add a color change to White for the remaining layers.
- Load the specified filaments:
- Assign the corresponding filaments to each color change based on the provided transmission distances.
- Slice the model and review the preview to ensure the color changes are applied correctly.
