Description

Consul: The Educated Monkey was a charming mechanical toy from early 1900s, invented by William Robertson. This ingenious metal chimpanzee used a simple lever mechanism to help children solve basic arithmetic problems. By moving Consul's feet along a numbered scale from 1 to 12, the toy automatically displayed the correct answer in a window on its chest. The scale also included a square symbol that allowed for multiplying a number by itself. Consul was a classic example of how educational toys could uniquely blend entertainment and instruction.

The one you see was designed by me and is printable. Attached is a doc that explains how to correctly assemble the parts. I hope you have fun building and using it. Greetings!
