I made this custom slow feeder for my 9lb Shih-Tzu Chihuahua mix. She has trouble pacing herself when she eats. She takes liquid medicine 3X a day, so the slow feeder also has a dedicated area for liquid medication. She has two meals twice a day. The slow feeder fits about 1/8 cup of dry kibble. It's recommended for tiny to small dogs. The bottom rim is 5/8 in. thick rim if you want to add rubber feet on it.
