I like to keep things clean and protected, that's why I printed a hot shoe cover a while back then. This worked fine, but the cover did not only cover the hot shoe but also a little mechanism that tells the camera not to allow a usage of the internal flash… I mean the internal flash is not often in use so it shouldn't be a problem, but in some cases, it is just uncomfortable to remove the cover and to but it back on again. In order to solve that problem, I designed a hot shoe cover which doesn't trigger the mechanism and also looks quite acceptable

If you download the .stl file make sure you get the newest version and the scale it on the Z-Axis to match your preferred fit!
