Note: This model does not function on its own but is a template used in combination with other models.

When attaching hooks or shelves to plasterboard walls, screws require a stud behind the wall. Additionally, large holes are left behind when removed. Using strong double-sided tape may damage the wallpaper. By using this template shape to attach hooks, etc., to the wall with thin pins, you can remove them without leaving large marks. This method is preferred for DIY projects in Japanese rental housing.

Usage: Perform in CAD or slicer.

Note: In this procedure, we refer to "hooks," but this refers to anything you want to attach to the wall, such as hooks or shelf brackets.

(1)Place the entire STEP file at the position where you want to install the hook's mounting hole.

(2)Cut out the "~Pin_Space" shape from the hook. Please differentiate between using a thickness of 10mm or less and more.

(3)Attach "Pin_Base" to the hook, etc. For high load capacity, we recommend using 4 pins.

Note: I do not have specialized measuring equipment or test plasterboard, so I have not accurately tested the load capacity of either 3 pins or 4 pins.

(4)Position the height of "~_Cap" to match the top surface of the hook.

(5)Cut out the "~_Cap" shape from the hook.

(6)Print the processed hook and cap.

Note: Depending on the accuracy of your printer, please reduce the size of the cap. With my X1C using PLA, a 0.5% reduction provided a suitable clearance.

Note: When slicing the cap, a "part of the model is floating" warning may appear, but please print it as it is.

used pins with a diameter of 0.73mm for wall mounting. Depending on the accuracy of your printer and the thickness of the pins you use, you may need to adjust the hole correction value.
