Description

The Design

Here we here a massive 256mm Vortex made from Suspended filament. This looks great and shows off the capabilities of your Printer.

I made this as the walls of the house were looking quite bare and wanted to put something interesting on them.

If you enjoy this print consider giving it a boost (It'd really help me out!)

Printing

Slice with the Arachne wall generator. ensure layer thickness is at 0.2mm

Once printed let the build plate cool. The base is fragile - take extra care when remove from the build bed.

Print Lines should not fail. If more than 1 fails, please consider recalibrating the printer and drying the filament. Let me know if you do experience any issues and i'll try to help

After many years in Engineering, I've just decided to try and follow my childhood dream of becoming of a Creative Designer.

will there be a x1c profile?

Hey, Thanks for pointing this out to me, i had assumed the A1 profile would be compatible with the p1 and x1. but it seems not. If you open it in Bambu Studio you can just change the printer and it should be fine. There may be an issue with the initial calibration lines, they seem different on each model. I cant official add the profile myself as i can't print it

Future version would benefit from a mounting style that doesn't use nails, such as command strip with a thicker boarder. As well, ofc with something this thin there are strength issues with even lightly tapping the strands.
