This is a small part to repair your IKEA FRIDANS blinds. If the rod is no longer functioning to lower or raise the blinds, the pearls of the chain inside the rod are possibly broken.

Installation instructions: You can open the rod with a screwdriver by sliding it over the knob of the connector part (also depicted in the picture). Once that's done, remove the old connector part and press the pearls into the new one. This connector part is more durable as more pearls can be joined by it. Reassemble everything and you're all set.

On a sidenote, you won't be able to raise your FRIDANS as high as before because this part is a bit longer than the original one
